Join Lisa for a week-long yoga immersion designed to kick start your confidence in joining any yoga class
Whether you’re in it to tone up or tune up, meditate or move mindfully, Lisa will help you to discover the essentials. Over the course of a week these Basics Masterclasses will teach you how to breathe and bend, flex and flow, stretch and surrender. You’ll cover all of the main poses – starting with their names!
Complete beginners welcome! Just wear something you are comfortable moving in.

Tuesday, 1st October 7:45pm – 9:15pm
Find your feet in standing poses like mountain pose, side-angle pose, downward-facing dog and the warrior series. Sun salutations and safe transitions: how to break down and rebuild the central sequence of any flow class. Learn progression techniques to adapt any flow class to your own pace.
Thursday, 3rd October 7:45pm – 9:15pm
Where is the core? Understand core strength and how to build it. Fine-tune techniques to find balance in kneeling, standing and inversion poses. Learn the difference between balance and symmetry. Integrate and radiate!
Sunday, 6th October 11am – 12:30pm
Take a seat! How to safely create space in the hamstrings and find fluidity in the spine.
Demystifying twists, backward bends and forward folds. Learn to use props in a skillful way that strengthens your body and makes these poses more accessible.
