Building Handstands from the Fingertips Up
Handstands can be one of the most beautiful and rewarding, yet intimidating poses in yoga. Rather than just flinging ourselves against a wall in the hope of someday catching a brief moment of balance, in this workshop we will build our handstand practice from the fingertips up.
We will work to build strength in our hands, arms, shoulders and core, while also creating more body intelligence and a better understanding of our body's movements in space.
This workshop will help you create a solid foundation and build the confidence for exploring handstands, while also learning skills that will improve your practice as a whole, so that while we experiment with going upside down, more importantly we are learning how to better control and use our body's on and off the mat...
